Asia ADR Week 2026 and a practice-led online presence.
This proposal covers the two items on the agenda for 29 September: marketing materials for Asia ADR Week 2026, which opens on 12 October, and an ongoing online presence built around LHAG's thirteen practice groups.

Proposed: shared production. Subject to LHAG's agreement, the corporate video shoot on 2 October can also record the International Arbitration reel, so the practice series opens with its first reel ready and without an extra shoot day.
Part A · Urgent Asia ADR Week 2026
Event materials, delivered before 12 October.
Asia ADR Week draws the audience served by LHAG's Dispute Resolution and International Arbitration practices. All four items are produced in LHAG's brand kit and share a single visual line, so the stand, the programme and the screen present one consistent firm identity.
1

Indicative designs — bunting and flyer
Prepared in LHAG's visual identity, drawn from the firm's "About Us" page: the green side band naming the three offices, the pale-gold rule, the deep-teal field with its flowing-line texture, and the LHAG logo. Final artwork will follow the LHAG brand kit.

Part B · Online presence The brief
Scope of the brief.
LHAG has asked for an online presence that draws on the approach of Latham & Watkins on Instagram, with one interview or topic reel for each practice group, and four elements in all.
01
Practice-area interviews
02
Short reels on one topic
03
Programmes & vacancies
04
A tagline for LHAG
Each element is addressed in sections 10 and 11.
Part B The reference
Reference review: Latham & Watkins.
We reviewed the most recent 60 posts and 28 reels on @lathamwatkins, using the view counts Instagram displays. Two findings are relevant to LHAG: the composition of the feed, and which formats attract the most views.
Composition of the feed

Latham · 32%
LHAG · 2%

Single-speaker explainer 18 reels

Three reference formats and their application to LHAG
Practice explainer
"Latham In Focus"
One lawyer, one practice group, one issue, within a fixed branded frame that gives the feed its consistency.
Application: one reel per practice group within a named series and a consistent frame.
Public counts as displayed on Instagram, 27 September 2026. Views are cumulative; the single-speaker explainers are generally older, so the difference is likely understated. Latham's most-viewed reel is an office tour, at 261K views.
Part B Starting point
LHAG's current Instagram presence.
@lhagmy has 1,201 followers and 510 posts. The account is consistently active, with most recent content marking festive occasions and firm events; practice insight and recruitment are not yet part of the feed.
Last 20 reels

Content featuring LHAG's people
≈2.2×
Team day, Quantum Leap training and the CSR meal drive reached a median of 3,023 views, consistent with the Latham findings.

practice explainer reels and recruitment reels to date.
An established LHAG format. In 2020 LHAG produced On-Air with LHAG, a series of at least seven partner interviews featuring leaders of the Dispute Resolution, Employment & Industrial Relations and arbitration practices. The series name remains in LHAG's Instagram bio. We propose reviving it as the name of the practice series.
Counts from @lhagmy and its Reels tab, 27 Sep 2026. On-Air episodes: lh-ag.com and LHAG's YouTube channel.
Part B Business context
Understanding the firm.
Lee Hishammuddin Allen & Gledhill
One of Malaysia's largest law firms, giving personalised legal representation since 1902. Clients range from government authorities, conglomerates, financial institutions and multinationals to SMEs, start-ups and private individuals — and the firm has acted on cases that shaped Malaysian law.

Part B How we work
Organic, educational and compliant.
The engagement uses organic content only — no paid advertising. LHAG's expertise is shared as education on the firm's own channels, in keeping with the Legal Profession (Publicity) Rules, and performance data shapes each next piece of content.

Part B Market research
The market, and the opening.
Industry overview
Malaysia's legal market is competitive and relationship-driven. Leading full-service firms — Skrine, Shearn Delamore, Wong & Partners (Baker McKenzie), Rahmat Lim, Zul Rafique and Christopher & Lee Ong — compete for the same corporate and GLC mandates. Corporate deals, disputes, regulatory change and compliance drive demand, and decision-makers increasingly research and shortlist firms online before an enquiry.
Trends
General counsel and executives research firms online before shortlisting
Thought leadership builds trust and authority
Short-form video is emerging for accessible legal education
Search visibility for practice-area terms drives high-intent enquiries
Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok and YouTube reach business audiences
Competitor insights
Top firms publish regular insights and alerts for search and authority
Some invest in polished websites; few use short-form video well
Practice-area questions are under-served — an organic opening
A cohesive, social-first thought-leadership engine is a clear edge
Opportunities
Practice-area search terms
Explainers that show expertise
Video that makes law accessible
Double down on what works
Clear routes to the firm's website
Challenges
Referral-led buying cycles
Publicity rules — careful messaging
Well-established competitors
Accuracy and consistent quality
Opportunity
Growth potential
Firms that answer clients' questions clearly and consistently will lead the conversation in their practice areas.
Channel mix
Instagram first
Instagram as the lead channel, as discussed in July, with the same reels on TikTok and YouTube Shorts, and YouTube for the long-form roundtable.
Recommendations
Now and later
Now: the practice series and recruitment. Later (quoted separately): website refresh and industry collaborations.
Part B Strategy
Positioning, and a line for LHAG.
Positioning statement
Lee Hishammuddin Allen & Gledhill — a Malaysian firm since 1902, with reach across 150+ cities, and the counsel behind confident decisions.
Primary offer
Show LHAG's people and expertise on Instagram — one practice group at a time — so clients see who they would work with, and talent sees where they'd grow.
Tagline — three options
Latham pairs its firm name with a single talent line on every recruitment post; we recommend the same structure. All three options are factual and make no comparison with other firms, in line with the Legal Profession (Publicity) Rules.
Recommended · brand line
Since 1902. Built for what's next.
Combines a claim unique to LHAG — a 124-year history — with forward momentum. Suitable for both clients and recruits.
Brand line · alternative
Local mastery. Borderless practice.
From the July proposal. Reflects the Multilaw and Interlaw networks; well suited to international audiences such as Asia ADR Week.
Talent line · for vacancies
Real work, from day one.
Reflects the theme of Latham's most-viewed reels: responsibility early in a career. Appears beneath the brand line on each vacancy post.
Part B The content plan
On-Air with LHAG — all thirteen practice groups.
The practice series revives LHAG's 2020 format for short-form video. Each practice group is represented on camera in a conversational format — a partner and an associate addressing a single question — within a consistent LHAG frame.

Energy, Projects & Infrastructure
The first On-Air episode — a long-form conversation on YouTube in which these four groups discuss what's next for Malaysian business: energy, regulation, technology and family wealth. Each group also receives its own short cut, counted within the month's nine reels.
The table sets out the first cycle, which covers all thirteen groups in the first two posting months. With 27 reels across the engagement, each group can feature more than once. The order is for LHAG to decide; the arrangement above leads with the practices most relevant to Asia ADR Week and LHAG's Tier-1 teams.
